you may know me as Ted.
i was born in Peterborough, Ontario
grew up and went to school in Ottawa, Ontario
lived in Jasper, Alberta
lived in Coquitlam, British Columbia (although i always say Vancouver)
and now i live in Montréal with my girlfriend Helene, my son Thomas
and our five cats Milady, Katcher, Moocah, Esteban and Tao.
i first went on-line in 1998 as grateful_ted, then became ultra_fink.
i started this
site around 2001, when Helene got me the domain as a gift.
i started writing articles on medical cannabis when i got a licence to grow
in 2003.
i have published articles on medical cannabis under the following names:
Ted Jackson, Herb Gardner, ultra fink and George Mastoura.
this site has
been many things over the years, fancy, flashy and sleek.
now i have gone to the simplest form i can think of,
namely black and white text only.
time and money being the motivation for the virtual beauty of this site,
i am available for contract maintanance of this site should you desire changes.
i once came upon a sign that requested "please stay on the path, rehabilitation
area"
i had heard of "keep off the grass" and felt a need to merge the
two.
i came up with "please stay on the grass".
when i was thinking of names for my domain i wanted a covert way of saying
i smoke,
and i decided upon OnTheGrass.
the name of this
site is loosely inspired by the song brain damage by the pink floyd,
only because i have been a lunatic on the grass and believe we must keep the
loonies on the path!
